The grotto holds a monthly meeting on the 4th Thursday of the month from January to November, has members actively caving in West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky, and plans group events throughout the year.
Mike Armstrong is the Southeast Region Bat Recovery Biologist for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in the Kentucky Field Office. He will be speaking about Indiana bat migration and the distances this species travels to survive.
