The grotto holds a monthly meeting on the 4th Wednesday of the month from January to November, has members actively caving in West Virginia, Indiana, and Kentucky, and plans group events throughout the year.

Wormest 2025
March 28 to March 30
Wormfest 2025 will be held the last weekend of March in none other than Carter Caves State Resort Park. One of our missions as a grotto is to promote camaraderie within our caving community and support some of our favorite places. We will be renting a bunkhouse and surrounding campsites within the park for Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th. We will be starting the event on Friday with a hike through the park in the afternoon and enjoying a nice campfire Friday evening. We will do breakfast Saturday morning at the lodge, have morning and afternoon cave trips, and then do dinner as group at the lodge Saturday night. Saturday night will have more campfire hangout time! Sunday we will do breakfast again at the lodge and then have morning cave trips.
